Tender description

Bedford Borough Council on behalf of Milton Keynes Council, wishes to procure a high quality Integrated contraception and sexual health service to be delivered from a single setting to ensure the provision of seamless care for service users. The overall aim is to reduce unplanned pregnancies, reduce the prevalence of Sexually transmitted infections (STI), and to provide specialist assessment and ongoing management of associated conditions in order to support patients to stay well and to reduce the risk of onward transmission. Bedford Borough Council on behalf of the Council and NHS England, wishes to procure a high quality Integrated contraception and sexual health services to be delivered in conjunction with HIV treatment and care services from a single setting to ensure the provision of seamless care for service users. The overall aim is to reduce unplanned pregnancies, reduce the prevalence of Sexually transmitted infections (STI) and specialised HIV services for adults (outpatient and inpatient services) to provide specialist assessment and ongoing management of HIV and associated conditions in order to support patients to stay well (reduced mortality and morbidity) and to reduce the risk of onward transmission of HIV.
