Tender description

Advocacy services for children and YP living in the County of Staffordshire Lot 1 and the City of Stoke-on-Trent Lot 2: looked after children, including care leavers, children subject to a child protection plan or who are children in need, children and young people with SEN, and children with disabilities, and on occasion, include children and young people living/placed outside the Staffordshire and SOT Council boundaries.The service will be available to children and young people from the above groups between the ages of 5-18 years, and up to age 25 for those with SEND where the presenting issue relates to the education health and care plan/education provision or for care leavers under ‘Staying Put’ legislation. The service will also be required to deliver: An independent visitor programme for LAC, Arrange for an independent person to attend secure accommodation reviews as and when required, independent person for age assessments of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people.
