Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is holding a supporting people programme commissioning workshop which will aim to bring together key stakeholders and partners in order to discuss new housing related support service models for people with Mental Health issues in Neath Port Talbot. Any new service(s) will be required to deliver housing related support to enable those with mental health issues to live independently within the community and a strong emphasis on the following supporting people programme strategic objectives; — preventing homelessness, — tackling poverty, — reducing social exclusion and isolation, — preventing institutionalisation, and — reducing crime and disorder.
