Tender description

The service will provide people with learning disabilities the opportunity to meet new people, make friends, develop relationships and have access to meaningful, age-appropriate activity that draws on their interests. The service will identify those that need it most and act early to reduce social isolation by access to activities, information, and support. The service will work with people with learning disabilities to provide ready access to a range of community-based activities that are meaningful, age-appropriate and draw on peoples’ interests. The provider will: — build on the service user’s strengths and develop their independent living skills, — collate and share good quality, accessible information about what activities, groups and leisure opportunities are available locally, — co-produce and run a programme of activities, groups and leisure opportunities for people with learning disabilities, — provide 1:1 support to people that need additional help in accessing the above.
