Tender description

Lancashire County Council offers a direct payments support service that provides information, advice and support to people that have a direct payment in Lancashire. The service provides home visits and telephone support. The service covers all aspects of managing a direct payment including; set up, recruiting, keeping records, employer responsibilities, payroll and also provides managed bank accounts. This contract has an estimated annual value of 800 000 GBP, supporting 200-300 people a month and we are considering procuring a 5-year contract. Any procurement process would have a contract notice published in or around November 2019 with an expected contract start date for the procured services of May 2020. Lancashire County Council wishes to invite expressions of interest for participation in a possible engagement process from service providers who already provide some or all of the services listed in this notice. The supplier engagement process may take the form of an electronic questionnaire, and/or a meeting or event to be held at County Hall Preston ideally taking place during the week commencing 16.9.2019. Any engagement process taking place would focus on the services to be procured. Interested service providers should contact caphprocurement@lancashire.gov.uk providing the following information by 12:00 noon 11.9.2019: — your organisation name and contact details, — your degree of interest in tendering should the council publish a contract notice, — a short description of the similar services that you currently provide or have provided in the last 2 years, — confirmation of whether your organisation would be willing to take part in a supplier engagement process.
