Tender description

The composites research centre requires the supply and installation of a differential scanning calorimeter for the development of advanced biomedical/additive manufacturing. We invite tenders for the following: An accurate and precise DSC with: — temperature range: -50 to + 450 ºC minimum without the use of liquid nitrogen. A wider range would be desirable, — temperature accuracy: +/- 0,1 ºC, — temperature precision: +/- 0,02 ºC, — baseline deviation < 100μw (difference between maximum and minimum heat flow between -10 to 150 ºC with no sample in the camber under flowing nitrogen at heating rate of 10 ºC/min), — enthalpy/calorimetric accuracy: +/-0,5 %, — enthalpy/calorimetric precision: +/-0,01 %, — autosampler which can hold at least 25 samples, a higher capacity would be desirable. There should the ability to change the operating conditions of different samples in the same autosampling run, — it is highly desirable to include modulated DSC or equivalent.
