Identify requirements across the business for 'Book and Pay'. This includes online shopfront, kiosk based solution (with payments), scheduling and ticketing, as well as online payments that integrate with existing payment systems. 2. Provide advice and create specification to enable the Council to go to market for a book and pay solution. Skills & Experience • Have experience of specifying requirements for a 'Book and Pay' project • Have experience of interpreting the needs of the organisation and turning this in to a specification • Have experience of shaping the requirements of the organisation to align with the current marketplace for these services • Understand the requirements of the PCI framework • Have experience of specifying an e-commerce and ticketing environment • Have experience of specifying an integrated digital point of sale solution Nice to Haves Experience of working with Local Authorities on an e-commerce, booking and payments platform Work Location Civic Offices 2 Watling Street Bexleyheath DA6 7AT Working Arrangments Onsite for liaison and engagement activities Remote working acceptable for research and report writing activities Travel and expenses must be included in day rate No. of Specialists to Evaluate 10 Cultural Fit Criteria • Have experience of working in a Local Authority setting • Be able to work as a team with our organisation and with other key suppliers • Share knowledge and expertise with the wider team Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 45% Cultural fit 10% Price 45% Questions from Suppliers 1. What is the budget for the task? There is no set budget for this task however funding is available from a wider Capital Programme 2. Is there a current incumbent? There is no incumbent. 3. Is this role outside IR35? Both the outcomes and the price are fixed for this piece of work so this role is outside of IR35. 4. Is there an existing solution to be replaced? There is no existing corporate solution for this although there may be some small scale implementations in a couple of teams. 5. Is there an opportunity for the role to extend beyond the initial 4 weeks? Both the outcomes and the price are fixed for this piece of work. We are also looking for a quick turnaround so that we can get out to market. For these reasons it is anticipated that this opportunity will be for four weeks only.
