Tender description

The contracting authority on behalf of itself, any entity it has an interest in and any TMO in the borough is seeking to appoint 2 qualified and experienced economic operators to provide Asbestos Removals works to its housing stock and operational buildings within the geographical boundaries of the London Borough of Southwark — Contract A will be north of the borough and Contract B will be south of the Borough. The contracting authority on behalf of itself, any entity it has an interest in and any TMO in the borough is seeking to appoint 2 qualified and experienced economic operators to provide Asbestos Removals works to its housing stock and operational buildings within the geographical boundaries of the London Borough of Southwark — Contract A will be north of the borough and Contract B will be south of the borough. The range of work streams include: asbestos removal, encapsulation of existing asbestos materials, associated minor repairs and reinstatement works, emergency response and out of hours service for making save and disposing of asbestos and scaffolding, mobile towers and all work platforms required to facilitate the works. Both contracts will be for an initial period of 4 years, extendable at the sole discretion of the contracting authority for a further period of 2 years, giving a total possible contract period of up to 6 years.
