Swindon Borough Council has taken the decision to abandon the current tender process in relation to the provision of the design and installation for upgrading street lights to LED and the provision of a central management software (CMS) The council has determined it is necessary to undertake some amendments to its tender documents, including the specification, to ensure the council can achieve its best value duty and will therefore be issuing a new tender. The new tender documents will include any necessary changes that have arisen during the clarification process for the current tender. It is currently anticipated that the new tender opportunity will be advertised on tenders electronic daily, contracts finder and the supplying the south west portal within the next 2 weeks and we would encourage all bidders to register their interest and download the new tender documents to participate as this will be a new tender opportunity.
