Gas appliance maintenance services

Tender description

Wandsworth Borough Council is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of district, communal and domestic gas servicing and maintenance. The provision of annual servicing of all the gas appliances in district and communal boiler houses, gas safety inspections, a Landlord Gas Safety Record for each gas/oil appliance and the provision of an emergency works, breakdown and repairs service. The contract covers circa. 86 boiler houses serving approx. 3 630 properties. The provision of an annual gas safety inspection, service, production of a Landlords Gas Safety Record and a breakdown and repairs service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to approx. 6 740 properties in the East and Central area of the London Borough of Wandsworth. In addition, there are approx. 40 properties located outside the borough served by individual domestic boilers. Contractor must be available at all times to provide an optimum response to emergency works. The provision of an annual gas safety inspection, service, production of a Landlords Gas Safety Record for each appliance/gas carcass in occupied domestic properties and a breakdown and repairs service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to approx. 7 500 properties in the west and central areas of the London Borough of Wandsworth. In addition, there are approximately 40 properties located outside the borough served by individual domestic boilers. Contractor must be available at all times to provide an optimum response to emergency works.
