Environmental decontamination services

Tender description

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children is looking for a supplier for decontamination services. Currently the trust has an on-site endoscope decontamination unit and medical equipment decontamination unit with a not on site sterile services department. The services that are being procured will encompass the following: 1) Sterile services — this is to be an offsite service provided to the trust and will include transportation of instrumentation between the hospital and the contractors decontamination facility; 2) Onsite team to work within the trusts endoscope decontamination unit and medical equipment decontamination units; 3) Onsite portering team responsible for the delivery and collection of surgical instruments, flexible endoscopes and medical equipment.
