Contract for Provision of Extra Care Services at Primrose Gardens

Tender description

The Authority is looking to appoint a Service Provider(s) to deliver Extra Care Services at a new Scheme, Primrose Gardens, Chorley. The new Scheme will be 48 one bedroom and 17 two bedroom high quality apartments available to rent, suitable for couples or individuals, which are laid out across three floors. The new Scheme is due to open towards the end of April 2019. The Contract will be for an initial 2 years, with the option to extend for any period(s) of up to a maximum of a further 2 years. Extra care housing provides safe and secure self-contained accommodation for older adults who require varying levels of care and support to enable them to live independently in a home environment. The new Service is to deliver the Background Support and Emergency Response Service as well as any require Planned Care and Support commissioned on a Spot Arrangement.
