Tender description
The London Borough of Merton (“the Council”) is inviting tenders to design and deliver an interpretation scheme for their Lottery funded ‘Parks for People’ project at The Canons house & grounds in Mitcham, CR4 4HD. This includes an interpretation scheme for a community heritage space, a café and a landscape (including a walk through the site); a series of community engagement workshops and the design, delivery and installation of the final scheme. The project team from the London Borough of Merton is looking to appoint an interpretation design team to assist with their on-going plans for engagement with the site. There is currently a design team in place including Landscape Architects and Conservation Architects, and the design of the landscape & gardens and interior plans for the house have been finalised. The interpretation design team would help design the content and layout of the interpretation, creating innovative ways to help visitors engage with the site.
