Tender description

The council operates a canal row boat hire service on the Royal Military Canal in Hythe from Spring to Autumn every year. The service includes 20 rowing boats which are hired out daily to members of the public throughout the season. The current stock are coming to the end of their useful life and the council wish to renew the boats for the new season commencing April 2020. The boats will need to be: 1. Made of Glass Reinforced plastic (GRP) construction 2. 3.3m or maximum length 3.5m (approximately 11ft - 11ft 5in) 3. 1 pair 12mm diameter Galvanised Rowlocks per row boat 4. 1 pair of Oars/flat blade sculls per row boat 225cm 5.
