Employment Law Solicitor Hours: 37 Hours - Monday to Friday Start date: ASAP for 3 months Rate of Pay: Band H £40,760 to £45,591 PAYE but agencies can advise what the candidate would be looking for on a ltd company basis at £42 p/h Contract type: Agency Location:- Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE Job Description is attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: This vacancy is for an Employment Law Solicitor. One Solicitor is required to start as soon as possible and work for a period of 12 weeks. The role will be based at Oldbury Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE. We require one Solicitor with extensive experience of employment law within a Local Authority. We are looking for a candidate who has the following experience: Qualified Solicitor/Barrister/Fellow of CILEx of at least 2 years, extensive experience of employment law within a Local Authority, advocacy experience in Courts and Tribunals, general knowledge of Local Government law, extensive experience of providing advice to internal and external clients and the ability to undertake a varied workload. Local authority experience is essential.
