Please can you confirm the IR35 status The intermediaries legislation does not apply to this engagement. The role is outside IR35. 6. Has an IR35 status been determined for this post The intermediaries legislation does not apply to this engagement. The role is outside IR35. 7. Has a budget been set for this post A specific budget has not been set, we are testing the market with this post. 8. "What the specialist will work on" section describes the role as devops but the essential criteria expects "Client-side JavaScript", "Writing business object reports", "Data searching and matching techniques of large data sets ", "Scripted manipulation and transformation of large Data". Not sure what exactly needed here. Can you please confirm. The specialist will need to know JavaScript (or similar) to write Lambda methods for the application of AWS Config rules. Additionally, they will need to be able to read and understand JavaScript for some client-side application. We also have MI and ETL tooling that the specialist may have to work with, knowledge in these areas is not essential 9. Please can you advise if you require the application questions to be answered in addition to provision of a CV or if a CV is sufficient? Many thanks Please answer the application questions via DOS. If your answer is covered by the CV you are submitting, simply put “See CV” in the answer section. 10. Is this a typo / real question. If it is some context as to what you mean would be helpful. “Experience of procuring IT solutions” Apologies, this sentence (Experience of procuring IT solutions) was added in error. A response is not needed and candidates will not be evaluated against it. 11. Some of the essential and nice-to-have criteria seems counter to "what the specialist will work on".For example, "Writing business object reports". It was previously stated, "We also have MI and ETL tooling... knowledge in these areas is not essential". So why is "Writing business object reports" an essential criteria?Further, why is "Producing and reviewing technical specifications for IT projects" an essential criteria but "Reviewing suppliers’ technical and commercial proposals" a nice-to-have?Please could Disclosure Scotland reflect on your essential and nice-to-have criteria in comparison to "what the specialist will work on" and provide some additional guidance and clarification. "Writing business object reports.."And .."using MI and ETL tooling" are different skills. We would prefer someone with writing business object report experiance. Please still submit if you are unsure if you candidate meets this as we will consider the response as a whole. We would like to have Producing and reviewing technical specifications for IT projects experience, however we now realise this may hinder us attracting the correct Senior Dev OPS candidates so we will not score this down should the candidate not have this experience.
