Tender description

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) requires a Road Weather Information Service (RWIS) to: •Assist the Road Network Maintainers to undertake winter treatment of the national road network; •Enable the TII to provide users with Road Weather Information relating to the national road network; and •Assist the TII to plan and supervise construction and maintenance works for the national road network.TII owns a number of Weather Outstation assets that will provide roads specific Weather Observations for the new RWIS service. Details of these can be found in the Weather Outstation Asset Register.
