Playground Improved Access and Inclusive Play Works

Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of a Contractor to deliver Playground Improved Access & Inclusiveness Play Works. The location of the works is spread over 25 play parks throughout Antrim & Newtownabbey Council. Project Scope – The works include (but are not confined to) :- • supply and installation of new play equipment over multiple sites • supply and installation of accessible wheelchair swings at 4 play parks • repair/replacement of wetpour at a number of sites • new fencing/gates • provision of dropped kerbs, resurfacing works • lining of accessible parking bays • possible removal/relocation of existing play equipment, or extension to existing play parks • RPII Certification of new play equipment • provision of CAD drawings of play parks post installation Project Complexity: Work will be undertaken within multiple live sites. The envisaged construction contract period is 12-18 weeks. Further information on this will be detailed in the Invitation to Tender Documentation.
