Tender description
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine is looking to improve access to Derrynane Harbour, Co. Kerry through the provision of a New Navigation Beacon and associated Steel Pole and Concrete Base. The proposed navigation beacon will be located on a rock outcrop at the entrance to the harbour. The concrete base will be 2m in diameter and 2m in height. A 5m steel pole and access ladder will be attached to the concrete base. A solar powered navigation light and lateral mark will be attached to the top of the steel pole. The works shall consist of the scope of works shown on the drawings and specifications including as a summary: • Provide, maintain and dismantle safe access to the works; • Disposal offsite of waste materials generated on site; • Set-up of suitable works plant and equipment; • Movement of materials on site; • Movement of equipment on site; • Adherence to environmental constraints; • PSCS role for the duration of the works.
