Tender description

The Council is seeking to develop a framework of registered housing providers to improve access to good quality affordable housing for a range of customers with varying needs. There are a number of ways we would like to work with partners to achieve this and three areas of business that the Council is seeking to develop are: Increasing access to the private rented sector across Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham for customers who are homeless, or are at risk of homelessness; Develop flexible and innovative accommodation provision, which will contribute to the achievement of the priorities set out in the Homeless Prevention and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2018-2023; Increasing access to affordable housing (both rented and affordable home ownership options) which will meet the housing needs of the Borough.
