Provision of consultancy services to include a review of building design and, advice on marketability. Angel Row is a proposed circa 140,000 sq. ft office development on the site of the current Central Library, Nottingham, NG1 6HP. The Council is looking to appoint a consultant to advise and represent Nottingham City Council in the development and lettings process. The consultant will need to be an office agent with experience of marketing and letting flagship office buildings, negotiating leasing terms, providing market rental advice, etc. One of the key named individuals employed by the appointed consultant must be a RICS chartered surveyor. The project will be undertaken in 2 phases. Phase 1 is confirmed, while Phase 2 is provisional, dependent on the development of the property proceeding. Phase 1 will be to support the Council in developing their design requirements and business case for the project, leading up to an Executive decision whether to proceed with the project. If the decision is taken to proceed with the development, the consultant will market the property and manage the lettings process.
