Tender description

Introduction: Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are seeking suitable providers for the provision of recovery workers. The service is targeted at adults with a functional mental health need who live in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen and are known to the ABUHB secondary care mental health service. The recovery workers service reflects the strategic approach of the ABUHB mental health and learning disabilities division to offer recovery orientated services, which are person-centred and outcome focussed. Purpose of the service: The purpose of the recovery workers is to support recovery and social inclusion. The posts will act as a transition for service users between ABUHB mental health services and the wider services available in the community. We want to ensure that every person with mental illness is fully supported on the next stage of their personalised recovery journey when living in the community. It is proposed that the procurement will be managed under the ‘Light Touch Regime’ (LTR) in accordance with the Public contracts regulations (PCR) 2015, schedule 3. The process will be described in detail in the procurement documents and will be fully transparent to all bidders making clear the parameters of the process.
