Tender description

The Scottish Government’s Directorate for Energy and Climate Change (the ‘Authority’) wish to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement in order to provide the framework public bodies (*Scottish Local Authorities) with a range of advice, support and analysis on heat and energy efficiency. * Scottish local authority councils constituted under Section 2 of the Local Government, etc. (Scotland) Act 1994. The Scottish Government’s Directorate for Energy and Climate Change (the ‘Authority’) wish to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement in order to provide the framework public bodies (Scottish Local Authorities) with a range of advice, support and analysis on heat and energy efficiency. This framework agreement is being placed by the Scottish Government on behalf of the framework public bodies. The Scottish Government’s Directorate for energy and climate change works to deliver a low carbon society, with sustainable economic growth and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. The Scottish Government have consulted on giving local authorities a statutory duty to develop local heat and energy efficiency strategies. This requirement arises from the Energy Efficient Scotland Route map (published on 2.5.2018).
