Tender description

The contracting authority (on behalf of itself and Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing ('KNH') wishes to set up a Dynamic purchasing system (DPS) for the provision of learning (which includes but is not limited to classroom learning/e-learning) which falls under the remit of our internal training provision (the services). We anticipate 5 (five) Categories to be run under this DPS: Category 1: Management Development; Category 2: Personal Skills; Category 3: Coaching; Category 4: Outplacement Support; Category 5: Ad-Hoc Training Requirements. Kirklees Council sought, as a further competition from KMCSS-014 Dynamic purchasing system under Category 1 (Management Development), a provider with experience of understanding the challenges in working with local authority and highly political environments and how this will impact on negotiation and influencing practice and to deliver to the following requirements: — an intervention to develop managers to support their team through periods of change and build their own and their team’s resilience, — interactive and engaging intervention, — appropriate challenge and support for all attendees, — pre-course engagement (e.g. pre-course thinking), — post training activity to embed the learning (e.g. Reflection piece), — provider to provide all relevant training materials. The Council of the Borough of Kirklees sought, via a general further competition procedure from KMCSS-014 Dynamic purchasing system for the provision of internal training services under Category 3: Coaching, for a 2 day development session (with follow up) to introduce staff to coaching as a style and to support them to develop this as an approach both in day to day interactions and in leadership.
