DBC (AL) Renewal and Replacement of Carpets in Void Properties - AWARD

Tender description

Dacorum Borough Council (The Council) currently manages 12,000 Council properties around the Borough of Dacorum. The Council also manage a number of Supported Housing Schemes around the Borough for people who are over 60 or require support close by. The Council are looking for a suitable Contractor to carry out carpet replacements to void properties. This will initially be a 2-year contract with the option to extend for a further 3 years. The option to extend will be based on the performance of the Contractor. As part of the process around void properties, the Council will assess the works required on the property prior to re letting. The Council will also at times replace carpets that are occupied. The Council also carry out floor and carpet replacements in other areas within the Council. The Council could potentially use this contract to carry out those repairs however this is at the discretion of the Council.
