CMA Mapping and Network Analysis Solution

Tender description

To fulfil its role, including its statutory obligations, the CMA needs to conduct mapping and geographical analysis on an ongoing basis as a fundamental part of aspects of its work. The CMA needs to conduct geographical analysis as a key part of much of its Mergers work. Additionally, the CMA also has a statutory obligation to draw isochrones under Articles 4 and 7 of the Groceries Market Investigation (Controlled Land) Order 2010 (the Order) - see section 3 below. More generally, mapping and geographical analysis is used in various applications, including visualisation and thematic mapping, on an ad hoc basis. To continue to conduct the above analyses that are fundamental to its work, the CMA needs to purchase a package of software with comprehensive functionality and performance; highly-accurate underlying data; and the ability to replicate common workflows.
