CBC-1007-T-LP Skate park provission Biggleswade - AWARD

Tender description

This specification is a requirement for Consultation, Design, Provision and Installation of a concrete skate park, located behind Saxon Leisure Centre, Saxon Dr, Biggleswade SG18 8SU. The Skate Park facility is to be installed on the area used for the existing skate park, which consisted of metal ramps and was removed in January 2019. This Tender will be to identify and select a single Contractor whose tasks will be: o Consultation, o Final design o Provision and Installation of the concrete skatepark (including landscaping) o Arrange/attend official opening ceremony. o The contractor must ensure that the area is to suit the needs of the local users whilst taking into account a range of ages, abilities and wheel types such as; scooters, skateboards and BMX, whilst consideration is taken to ensure the site constraints. o The Contractor must account for any planning conditions and demands that the Council includes within the project management process.
