Tender description
Bristol City Council are looking to appoint an architectural practice to provide the services set out with in the tender documents, to carry out option appraisals, fully costed feasibility and scheme designs through to the successfully obtaining a satisfactory planning consent for the finalised and approved scheme design for each site within each work package. Architectural services in relation to Greville EPH and Gaywood House. Gaywood House: The site occupies the communal grounds around a block of high rise flats, Gaywood House. The development area is approximately 0,24 Hectares which is divided over 2 distinct areas within the grounds of Gaywood House — East and West. There also exists a Doctor’s Surgery within the block which may require converting into a residential use. Greville EPH: A former BCC EPH now surplus to requirement. The site is approximately 0,69 hectares with a flat topography and is located in a residential area bordered by predominantly owner occupied residential properties. The project is through the Procurement Hub DPS — 2015/S 183-332508 Architectural services for Branwhite Close and Brentry. Brentry EPH: A former BCC EPH now surplus to requirement. The site is approximately 0,75 hectares with a flat topography and is located in a residential area situated on a junction bordered to the East and South by privately owned residential properties and to the West a Care Home, Humphrey Repton House. Branwhite Close: The site was formerly occupied by Woolaway PRC Houses demolished in 2013. This site is brownfield and is currently subject to low levels of fly-tipping with intermittent grounds maintenance over the past 5 years. The site is approximately 0,4 hectares and slopes from East to West and is enclosed by a perimeter close board fence.
