PRJ866 - Dental Caretaking Services for Heathrow IRCs

Tender description

The Commissioner (NHS England London) is seeking to procure a caretaker service following the withdrawal of the current provider from the contract and ahead of a larger scale dental contract planned to commence on 01 April 2021. One of the key requirements of the care taker service is that it is in place by 01 October 2019. Heathrow IRCs are immigration removal centres in Hillingdon, west London, within the footprint of Heathrow Airport. Although formally two separate IRCs there is a shared custodial service, commissioned by the Home Office and provided by Mitie Care and Custody, and Healthcare service, commissioned by NHS England – London and provided by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust, operating across both sites as a single service.
