Trafford Council wish to invite providers to express their interest for the provision of Foster Carer Support Service. The Council is seeking to commission support for all their internal foster carers in carrying out their role of caring for Trafford Children and Young People. The Support Service should be available for Foster Care households who are facing difficult situations such as the investigation of an allegation. The service should be staffed by appropriately skilled and experienced support workers. The Support Service should be able to offer as required the following to Foster Care households: 24 hour Response Following Referral,Independent Social Worker support,Home Visits,Support at Meetings, Panels & Tribunal Liaison between Advocate and Key Professionals,Objective Support and Guidance, Mediation Support, Advocate for any Member of the Household including making a referral to the Council’s Children’s Rights Service if required, Provide Advice & Support through Appeal Procedure Attend & Give Evidence in Court.
