Innovation Park Medway Marketing - Engagement Event

Medway Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified/experienced national or international Chartered Surveyor/Property Agent to act for it in marketing, agreeing terms and selling land on a leasehold basis at Innovation Park Medway (IPM) at Rochester Airport in a joint agency arrangement with Chartered Surveyors/Property Agents with detailed local knowledge of the commercial property market in Medway Council’s area. An early engagement event will be held on 14 August 2019 from 2pm – 4pm at Innovation Centre Medway, where officers will present the council’s vision and programme for the project. Interested companies can ask questions before the tender goes live and a competitive environment is entered into. Innovation Park Medway is a significant redevelopment opportunity and has long been on the regeneration agenda. A masterplan has been adopted to set the context for the development of up to 101,000sqm of high quality, innovative B1 and B2 commercial development in the high value technology, engineering, manufacturing and knowledge intensive industries. Part of the North Kent Enterprise Zone, Medway Council’s aspiration for the site is that it will, in due course, offer access to world-class research and development and highly skilled talent through the cluster of Kent and Medway based universities.
