Tender description
Cumbria County Council are inviting submissions for the provision of the children and families support service. The service will provide children, young people and their families with the right support at the right time through an integrated approach, as part the 0-19 children, young people and families health and well-being system. The service shall be respondent to the identified needs of children and young people within each locality through a range of universal and targeted strength based interventions delivered through a whole family way of working. To provide support within the Allerdale area delivering services through existing identified children centre sites and through outreach into communities within the Allerdale boundary. Support shall be delivered flexibly as identified in the service specification, based on the service user’s presenting needs and challenges and through a range of settings where appropriate. The intention of this contract is to commission a successful proportionate universal service for children, young people and their families which will help address identified needs, build on strengths and equip them with the strategies to cope with life’s challenges. The service will deliver support based on a spectrum of need as outlined in the documentation and shall support service users with the most appropriate level of intervention. The provider shall work with other partners to achieve a functionally integrated approach to service delivery which will help to ensure that children, young people and their families receive the right level of support delivered by the right person which in turn will ensure most effective use of resources. Providers will deliver high quality support, which is aspirational in achieving improved outcomes for children, young people and their families. Providers are encouraged to demonstrate how they can add value to the Children and Families Support Service. To provide support within the Barrow in Furness area delivering services through existing identified children centre sites and through outreach into communities within the Allerdale boundary. Support shall be delivered flexibly as identified in the service specification, based on the service user’s presenting needs and challenges and through a range of settings where appropriate. The intention of this contract is to commission a successful proportionate universal service for children, young people and their families which will help address identified needs, build on strengths and equip them with the strategies to cope with life’s challenges.
