2 separate workshops are intended for independent fostering agency providers and independent residential care providers to give commissioners an opportunity to share Cardiff Council's Children Services commissioning priorities for the next 3 years and to engage with the market place to strengthen and improve working arrangements. The two separate workshops are intended for independent fostering agency providers and independent children’s residential care providers and will give commissioners an opportunity to share Cardiff children’s services commissioning priorities for the next 3 years and for providers to tell commissioners how they would like to engage with them to strengthen and improve working arrangements to achieve better outcomes for Cardiff’s children looked after. The engagement workshop for independent fostering providers will be held on 3.9.2019. During the workshop, providers will have an opportunity to sign up for an individual discussion slot with commissioners, which will be offered on 5.9.2019. The engagement workshop for independent children’s residential providers will be held on 10.9.2019. During the workshop, providers will have an opportunity to sign up for an individual discussion slot with commissioners, which will be offered on 13.9.2019. Times and venues for both engagement workshops will be confirmed in the next week.
