Tender description
This is a notice for social and specific services in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU Article 74’ Buckinghamshire County Council wish to commission 2 supported living services under one contract for adults with learning disabilities and mental health support needs. These services will be transitional services for the purpose of working with the service users to enable them to achieve more independent living skills, making them suitable for move on to more independent living accommodation. The supplier will be responsible for coordinating a package of support, within the services and local community, for each service user that is holistic, person centred and focuses on outcomes. They will be expected to work proactively with Council and housing providers to maximise occupancy of the scheme and to develop pathways for Service Users to move into more independent accommodation. The contract start date is 24.9.2019. The contract term is 3 years with the option to extend for up to 2 years. Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) may apply to this contract.
