Tender description
The Short Breaks service contract being procured for Haydock Avenue will provide accommodation-based short breaks for children and young people (aged 9 to 18) with disabilities. This is a diverse group of people, and the support they need will be person-centred and tailored to their needs, strengths, interests and in some cases, the risks they present to themselves and others. Child-centred planning with individuals and their families, and in some cases, crisis and contingency planning, will provide the basis for identifying the opportunities and activities offered. This service will need to be registered with OFSTED as providing residential short breaks for up to 6 children and young people up to the age of 18.
