Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) has appointed an ENplus®trader who can source 6 mm wood pellets to the ISO 17225-2 standard (previously EN 14961-2) and ENplus®class A1 and deliver them to the Council’s sites in the same quality and to the same specification as described more fully in the specification contained within the invitation to tender documents. The contract will run for a period of 2 years until 4.7.2021 thereafter renewable at annual intervals until the 4.7.2023. Supply of 6 mm wood pellets The County Council can guarantee 19 sites with some certainty which together consume in the order of 801 tonnes per annum. These are a mix of non-school sites and schools involved in the Renewable heat boiler replacement programme (RHBRP) identified in the invitation to tender documents. There are 8 Nottinghamshire schools that order approx. 263 tonnes per annum from the current framework contract (but not guaranteed) and 39 Nottinghamshire schools that order approx. 1 899 tonnes elsewhere. The Council will work with the successful contractor to promote this framework to these establishments. By mutual consent this new contract will be open for utilisation by other public bodies in the East Midlands namely but not limited to Nottinghamshire County Council, Derbyshire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Leicestershire County Council and Northamptonshire County Council and District, Borough, City Councils, Police, Fire and NHS bodies within the above geographical areas.
