Tender description

NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the provision of interpretation and translation services for use by the NHS and other eligible authorities. The framework will provide the supply of language support services to staff requiring assistance in providing clinical services, either individually or as groups, to service users who speak, communicate or read languages other than English. The agreement will include the following as a minimum, but not be limited to: — face to face interpretation services, — telephone interpretation services, — video interpretation services, — translation services (including hard copy and electronic translation services), — sensory impairment interpretation and translation services (including but not limited to British sign language, lip speaking, speech-to-text operators, Braille transcription and audio transcription). The below-listed authorities (plus those entities listed at Section II.2.11 and Section VI.3) are eligible to access the resulting framework – subject to NOE CPC approval.
