Tender description

The University of Huddersfield (University) is conducting a competitive procurement process under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) to appoint a suitable provider (s) for key pieces of equipment critical to the success of The UK Rail Research and Innovation Network (‘UKKRIN’). The University has issued a contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union (the ‘OJEU’) (Tender Reference PS2018 007) in respect of this procurement which covers the following: Lot 1: Driven Wheelset Braking and Adhesion Rig; Lot 2: Bogie Hybrid Drivetrain and Dynamics Test Rig; Lot 3: Pantograph Test Rig; Lot 4: Train Hi-fidelity On-board Motion Simulator (THOMoS) Further details regarding the requirements are included within the tender package.
