PROVISION OF PRIMARY MEDICAL SERVICES & PRIMARY CARE HUB SERVICE UNDER A SINGLE APMS CONTRACT from the Junction Health Centre

Invitations are now invited from suitably experienced and capable providers to deliver the provision of a PRIMARY MEDICAL SERVICES & PRIMARY CARE HUB SERVICE UNDER a SINGLE APMS CONTRACT from the Junction Health Centre. The Junction Health Centre is a GP practice and walk-in centre located under the railway arches adjacent to Clapham Junction mainline railway station. The current service is under an APMS contract in respect of core primary medical services serving the needs of c8,300 registered patients, and under a parallel NHS Standard Contract in respect of walk-in services. The incumbent provider also provides Hub services commissioned by NHS Wandsworth CCG to patients registered with other practices in the area under a subcontract with Battersea Healthcare Community CIC. All three contracts expire on 31 March 2020. In planning for the future beyond March 2020, Wandsworth CCG has decided to decommission the walk-in service and re-configure the Hub Service. The service requirements of any future provider of services at the Junction will therefore comprise of the following: • Primary Medical Services • Wandsworth Premium Services • Primary Care Hub Services • Interim Patient Service (for a period of 6 months following the closure of the Walk-in Service) Full details about this service are provided within a suite of procurement documents which in addition to competitive procurement tender documents, includes Service Specifications and a supplementary Memorandum of Information to ensure potential bidders are fully informed as to the scope and intentions for this service and the commercial arrangements intended to support the contract.
