Tender description

To undertake research and feasibility studies into the costs and challenges of increasing capacity at motorway service area (MSA) sites to meet future electric vehicle charging demand, the state of the market and the commercial business models that may be viable for private sector investment. This will be used to inform the need for government intervention to develop a strategic charging network along motorways, and possibly wider interventions to include A roads/trunk roads and strategically located rapid charging hubs (as part of a charging infrastructure strategy).
