Tender description

Contract Award Notice for the provision of primary enhanced services in North East Essex. Contract award for the provision of primary enhanced services for the GP practice population of North East Essex, commencing 1.10.2019. The CCG and GP Primary Choice Ltd will work collaboratively with members of North East Essex Health and Well-being Alliance and primary care partners to ensure delivery of the service objectives and the standards and outcomes for the primary enhanced service are achieved. The clinical services to be included within this contract are as follows: 1) Anti coagulation; 2) Deep vein thrombosis (DVT); 3) Minor injury; 4) Wound care; 5) Long acting injectables and shared care; 6) Drugs monitoring; 7) Adults and children’s community phlebotomy; 8) End of life services (my care choices); 9) Physical health checks for people with serious mental illness. The CCG reserves the right to include leg ulcer care within this contract at a later stage. The contract duration is 4 years with an option to extend for 3 further years. The 16 353 757 GBP value relates to the entire 7 years.
