Tender description
Please provide your response by the 20th August 2019 to helen.tranter@southtyneside.gov.uk and not through the NEPO Portal. South Tyneside is currently refreshing its Market Position Statement (MPS). Please see attached our 2017 MPS. The MPS aims to give providers a range of information that may help to inform business development plans. It will offer a clear picture of what gaps there are in the existing care market, identify what users of services require, and will clearly articulate the type of future services needed in South Tyneside. It is intended to be used by providers to inform business direction and investment in capital or personnel. This information will enable providers to work with commissioners and to plan their business development, understanding the direction the local authority is taking but also why it is going in that direction and based on what evidence. The document is currently in draft and we would very much welcome views from the following providers: • Children and Young People - Residential, fostering, adoption services, specialist schools, young carers, • Older people - housing, domiciliary care, nursing and residential care providers, advocacy services, carers services • Learning disabilities and / or Autism - housing, home care, nursing and residential care providers, advocacy services • Mental Health - housing, home care, nursing and residential care providers, advocacy services • Physical disabilities - housing, home care, nursing and residential care providers, advocacy services We are interested in your views regarding the below. Please provide your response by the 20th August 2019 to helen.tranter@southtyneside.gov.uk • How can we ensure that our MPS document is useful to you? • How can our MPS be communicated to you? • Is there a preferred format or platform for you as a provider? • What specific information will help you to plan future service models? Keywords: Market Position Statement, Children and Young People, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Older People
