Tender description
The Council is looking for a registered agency for Drivers/Attendants to provide a passenger transport service during school hours for children with special educational needs. The minimum number of hours required would be four hours per day and the role is split shift am and pm. The role is term time only. The council cannot guarantee work; however, drivers would generally be used regularly (or ad hoc if that is what some would prefer). Attendants would be required as and when, but there could be periods they are more regular. Drivers are required to have a D1 or D on their driving licence. They will be required to come in for a driving assessment and all staff require a fully enhanced DBS check prior to starting. They must also provide two references for any appointments.
