Lead Sales Advisor for the Income Contingent Repayment Student Loan Monetisation Programme

Tender description

The Department for Education ("DfE") has commenced a programme to monetise the English Pre-Browne Income Contingent Repayment ("ICR") loan book. DfE launched the first sale of the loan book in February 2017. The process was subsequently paused following the announcement of a General Election in April 2017. This first sale was resumed on October 31st 2017 and is expected to complete by the end of 2017. Work is now commencing on a second sale targeted to complete in the second half of 2018 as the wider monetisation programme continues. This ITT is for a role critical to the current monetisation programme, starting with the execution of a second loan sale transaction: The Lead Sales Advisor. The role primarily involves: Leading on advice, transaction structuring, project management and transaction execution; acting as Arranger and; (alongside Joint Lead Managers) supporting the distribution effort in accordance with market best practice
