Tender description

NHS Arden and GEM CSU on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement – East of England (referred to as the Commissioners) is seeking market input to support the development of its proposal prior to publication of the formal procurement opportunity "Provision of Community and School Aged Immunisation Services across Essex and East Anglia". Any Organisation(s) who may be interested in this opportunity are invited to complete a short questionnaire by10:00 am on 19.8.2019. Please note this is purely a market assessment exercise to gather information on potential providers. The subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when published. The responses received during the market assessment exercise will not be taken into account in any future evaluation process as part of the formal procurement process. The aim of the service is to deliver immunisation services to all eligible children and young people in school and other settings where appropriate (Pupil Referral Units, Home Schooling) across Essex. The service should provide a dynamic, high performing, safe, effective and dedicated immunisation service that encompasses the immunisation programmes. The service should engage all children and young people and their parents and should be well known to the community it serves. The provider will need to provide services for the following immunisations: — Seasonal flu immunisation including Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine (LAIV) and Intramuscular (IM) vaccines in line with national roll out plans. This includes special schools (students and staff), — Tetanus, diphtheria and polio (Td/IPV), — Meningococcal groups A, C, W and Y (MenACWY), — Human Papillomavirus (HPV) - girls and boys, — (Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) catch-up.
