Tender description

The children missing from home return interview and support service will offer and undertake return interviews to children who have been reported missing from home to the police, who do not have an allocated social worker or are in care. Some of the children will also require specialist support to enable them to make safe choices about not running away from home and coping with any difficulties. The key objective is to help young people who have started to go missing from home to identify and address the issues that have contributed to these episodes in order to safeguard the child or young person, and empower them to make safe informed choices reducing the number of missing episodes.
