Tender description

The British Council would like suppliers to tender for: 4.1 Lot 1 - Global Relocation Services including shipping; and/or 4.2 Lot 2 - Global Immigration Services; and/or 4.3 Lot 3 - In-house Global Mobility Technology The British Council is looking for providers to work in partnership with central and local teams to provide these services. We have offices in over 100 countries and territories around the world, which are structured into eight regions and has 6 business support teams. We expect the total number of mobile employees managed by the UK team will rise to include permanent relocations so that this will be up to 700 over the next 18 months and up to 1 200-1 500 in the next 3 to 4 years. It is also proposed that the mobility team structure could change to a tri-regional hub model during this time. The services that the British Council would like suppliers to provide information and costs on, are as follows: — Account management, — Relocation management / file coordination, — Implementation, — Destination services – core service to include orientation, accompanied house hunting (and desktop search and initiation), tenancy negotiation, education support, settling in support, — Household goods shipment, road and air freight – core service to include storage of goods, — Departure services, — Ad hoc services – specialist school support, rental furniture, serviced accommodation, cross-cultural training, language training, partner support. The services that the British Council would like suppliers to provide information and costs on, are as follows: — Account management, — Implementation, — File coordination and assessment consultations, — Support for local registrations, business visas, residency visas, work permits applications and renewals for assignees, permanent relocations and dependents, — UK Diplomatic passports and visas, — UK naturalisation and passport applications and renewals, — Ad hoc local visa requirements and registrations, — Accompanied appointments, — Ad hoc consulting. The services that the British Council would like suppliers to provide information and costs on, are as follows: — Account management, — Implementation, — Workflow and links / integrations to other systems, — Assignment documents and balance sheets, — Calculation of allowances, — Payroll instructions, — Cost estimates and tax and social security engine, — Assignee portal, — Cost accumulation and total cost reporting, — Reporting and tracking.
