Tender description
Durham County Council is considering commissioning a befriending service for adults with a mental health diagnosis. The aim of the Countywide Befriending Service for Adults with Mental Health Diagnosis is to enable individuals to become less socially isolated by providing a service to encourage social inclusion and an introduction to activities of interest to the individual with a longer term aim of building confidence and independence which will assist with a ‘move on’ approach. The Council would be grateful for your responses to this information gathering exercise. Response would be gratefully received by Friday 16th August 2019. Keywords: Befriending, Mental Health
