Tender description

The objective of Carrigaline TPREP is to deliver a framework that provides an integrated approach to transportation planning for Carrigaline and its environs, which is focused on alleviating current congestion while also facilitating sustainable growth and development. This will be complemented by a sympathetic public realm enhancement plan for the town centre. In order to make Carrigaline more sustainable and attractive to inward investment, a comprehensive public realm strategy needs to be integral from the outset and considered in parallel with the transport analysis and plan. It is intended that the TPREP will deliver the strategic roadmap that will influence future development and sustainable growth in Carrigaline consistent with the national planning framework, regional spatial and economic strategy, Cork Metropolitan Area Strategic Plan, Cork Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy, Cork County Development Plan and the Local Area Plan.
