Playing field wall demolition and rebuild

Tender description

The Colne Parish Council invite contractors to submit a tender for replacing an existing brick wall, at the edge of the recreation ground, Drury Lane, Colne, Cambridgeshire. PE28 3NL. The tender should include the demolition of the existing wall, removal of debris and any old footings off site. The present wall measures approximately 97 metres long and is 1150 mm high. The replacement wall to be of similar length and height. Planning permission has been granted for this project. The contractor must have public liability insurance cover of a minimum of £5M. A copy of which shall be submitted when tendering and provide a method statement. The contractor shall comply with all Health and Safety Legislation regarding the type of work his operatives will be engaged on and in particular, attention is drawn to working along Drury Lane, which can be busy.
